Omer Lee Todd Omer passed away Friday, September 10, 2010, at his residence. Omer Lee Todd, born on October 30 , 1917, to parents Thomas Woodrow and Grace B. Rogers Todd, of the Shepola Community. He was the oldest of 10 children. He served as a Medic in the U.S Army, from 1942 until 1946. He was a contractor, having built many buildings in and around Pulaski County. He was a member of the First Church of God, Somerset, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Emma Marie Rogers Todd, whom he married on November 27, 1942 and three children, Doris (Steve) Cundiff of Somerset, Mike (Donna) Todd of Somerset, and Barbara (Jim) Brown of Bowling Green, 5 grandchildren, Steve II (Misty) Cundiff of Somerset, Rhonda Cundiff (Mark) Krummen of Walton, Kentucky, Grethcen Brown (Brian) Macy of Bowling Green, Christopher Todd of Somerset & Jacob Todd of Somerset, 6 great-grandchildren, Taylor Cundiff, Kaylee Cundiff, Lindsey Krummen, Kenton Krummen, James (Jay) Macy and Emma Grace Macy. He is also survived siblings- Freda (Linus) Keeney of Trimble, Kentucky, Gladola (Clarence) Driftmeyer of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Tom (Flonnie) Todd of Nancy, Kentucky, and Lois (Cloyd) Bumgardner of Woodstock , Kentucky, sister-in-law, Zinnie Todd and numerous nieces and nephews who all mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom & Grace Todd, sibling, Infant Edgar Todd, John Todd, Paul Todd, Gladys Todd Hines, Marie Todd Mason and granddaughter Melissa Ann Cundiff. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Sunday, at Pulaski Funeral Home and after 11:00 a.m. on Monday, at The First Church of God, 346 Monticello Street until time for Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Todd Family Cemetery at Shepola, Kentucky with the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard to conduct full military honors fro Mr. Todd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gideons International Somerset, Kentucky or to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, Kentucky 42503. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
