Roxie Flynn

Roxie Flynn, daughter of the late John and Nancy Simmons Ferrell, was born in Wayne County, KY of May 19, 1935 and she departed this life on Sunday, October 29, 2006 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 71 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Sam Flynn in 1971, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; three daughters, Linda Troxell Robertson of Russell Springs, KY, Ruby Flynn of Bronston, KY and Brenda Flynn also of Bronston, KY; two brothers, James Ferrell of Wayne County, KY and Billy Ferrell of Pulaski Co., KY; four grandchildren, Ronnie K. Troxell, Jessica Lee Alexander, Carl Shane Troxell and Samantha Marie Flynn; and one great grandchild, Michael Glen Troxell. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; one brother, Raymond Ferrell; and two sisters, Mary Arthur and Emmie Ferrell. Roxie was a homemaker and she attended the Word of God Church in Russell Springs and the Life Temple of Monticello, KY. she was a kind and gentle lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 03, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Humble officiating. Burial will follow in the Quinton Cemetery @ Bronston, KY The family of Mrs. Roxie Flynn will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2006. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
