Ruth Ping Tulley

Ms. Ruth E. Tully, 81, a resident of Highlands Heights, Kentucky passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Baptist Convelescent Center in Newport, KY following a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Mt. Victory, KY on March 08, 1929 the daughter of the late Alonzo Bessie Farmer Ping. Ruth loved spending tme with her family and devoted much of her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved attending any event they were participating in whether it be sports, band competition or dance recitals. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include one daughter; Phyllis (and Larry) Lawson of Highland Heights; six grandchildren, Renee (and Ted) Bouras, Michelle Arnzen, Krista (and John) Grooms, Larry Lawson, Lauren Ping and Leah Lawson; six great grandchildren, Megan Arnzen, Sydney Bouras, Nathan Arnzen, Caitlin Grooms, Conner Grooms, and Olivia Fogelman; three brothers, Jack (and Maxine) Ping, Joseph (and Betty) Ping, and Bill (and Margaret) Ping, all of Somerset, KY, two sisters, Netha (and John) Bloemer, Somerset and Cecelia (and Lee Roy) Maxed of Taylor Mill. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Earl Lorin Ping, of Highland Heights, her parents, Alonzo and Bessie Ping; six brothers, James Ping, Richard Ping, Edward Ping, Orville Ping, Ray Ping, and Forrest Ping; and one sister, Sherry Miles. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Moore officiating, burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Ruth Ping Tulley will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home form 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
