Christine Bates

Christine Bates, daughter of the late Hubert and Mary Ethel Bolin Shadoan, was born at Tateville, KY on October 24, 1942 and she departed this life on Sunday, October 22, 2006 having attained the age of 63 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Bates in November of 1963. He survives. Other survivors include; One son, Charles Allen Bates and one daughter, Sandy Stigall both of Tateville, KY; three grandchildren, Jaime (and Tiffany) Stigall, Jason (and Laura) Stigall, and Rebecca Decker; and six great grandchildren; Dylan, Kaylee, Madison, Exavier, Patience and Chloie, and she is also survived by two very special friends who have assisted in her care and have been wonderful to her and her family, Donald Ray and Joyce Jones. Christine was of the Church of God faith, she was also a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Bates will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with burial following in the following in the Burnside Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Christine Bates will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
