He was employed by Southern Railways for 31 years and upon retirement returned to his birth and home place of Kentucky.
He entertained us for many years with his favorite song " In the Pines" during rides to the country. He also stated many times over the years on how nice to have such good company in his family as his son-in-law; Dennis during his many visits from Florida.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Amelia and his son; Raymond Loveless. He is survived by one younger sister of Sping Hill, Florida; Winnie English.
He was also blessed with daughter Virginia Lois of Florida and Son Sonny James of Kentucky. The following grandchildren; Vicki (Dennis) Slocum and Dennie Tanner of Flordia. Timmy and (Cindy) Loveless of Georgia; four great grandchildren; Jessica Slocum of Florida, John, Kenneth and Keith Ashley of Kentucky. T.J. and Amelia Loveless of Georgia; one great great grandchild of Kentucky.
Papaw will be dearly missed, but in comfort knowing he will be re-united with his loving wife Amelia, many siblings, relatives, and friends who await his homecoming in the blue skies above.
Last but not least the family would like to thank Dr. Borgman and his team and staff of Morris Hospice Clinic at Jacksonville, Florida for compassion, love and the professional manner papaw and family received during the sudden illness.
God bless papaw and may his soul rest in peace with our mother, grandmother, and friend Ameila.
