Mildred Stogsdill

Mildred Stogsdill, daughter of the late Elva Lee Simpson Whitson, was born at Somerset, KY on July 22, 1931 and departed this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 having attained the age of 75 years. She was first united in marriage to Cecil Forster Stogsdill who preceded her in death. Four children blessed this union; Cecil (and Precilla) Stogsdill of Eubank, KY, J. T. ( and Sue) Stogsdill of Somerset, KY, Bonnie Soard of Somerset, KY, and Gaitha Flynn also of Somerset, KY, she is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. Other than her parents, & first husband, she was preceded in death by one son who died in infancy; one daughter, Eva Jane Stogsdill; one sister; Alta Sears; and her second husband; Morrison D. Stogsdill whom she married on June 27, 1969. Mildred was a homemaker and a member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church. Mildred was a kind and loving person, she enjoyed collecting dolls, and her family was the center of her life. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Morris and Rev. David Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Randall - Herrin Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Mildred Stogsdill will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2006. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
