Mr. David Hacker, of Burnside, Kentucky, son of the late Isaiah and Georgia (Cole) Hacker was born on February 7, 1938 in Manchester, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at his residence in the presence of his family having attained the age of 72.
Other than his parents Mr. Hacker was preceded in death by one brother; Allen Hacker and one sister; Carol Hacker.
Mr. Hacker is survived by his partner of many years; Judy Rowe, three sons; David (and Missy) Hacker, Steve Hacker and Richard (and Julie) Hacker all of Cincinnati, Ohio, one daughter; Monica (and Morgan) Thompson of Mississippi, one brother; Hargis Hacker of Burnside, Kentucky and three sisters; Sharon (and Danny) Finley of Manchester, Kentucky, Connie (and Reed) Stafford of Nashville, Tennessee and Cathy Hurley of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Hacker also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who all mourn his passing.
Mr. Hacker was a retired Machine Shop Operator for Cincinnati Mine Machine and was a member of the Jasper Bend Retreat.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
Family suggest expression of sympathy be made to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
