Mrs. Wilma Casada Sears

Wilma Casada Sears, daughter of the late Clinton and Maggie Casada, was born in Somerset, KY on June 10, 1911 and she departed this life on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 99 years and 12 days. She was united in marriage to Mr. John W. Sears, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; one son, John Darrell Sears; and three foster grandchildren, Timothy Nelson Roberts and his wife Allison, Clay Roberts and his wife Doris, and Kimberly Sue Roberts Troxtel and her husband Shawn; one foster great granddaughter, Katie Joe Roberts, and one foster great grandson, Noah D. Troxtel. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a foster son, Nelson J. Roberts, and a foster great grandson, Brian Roberts. Wilma was a homemaker and housewife, and a member of the Pitman Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for more than 70 years. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pitman Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Wilma Casada Sears will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Pitman Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
