Mr. Charles Vernon Price

Mr. Charles Vernon Price, son of the late Manford and Maggie Meece Price, was born at Dabney, KY on May 4, 1927 and departed this life on Saturday, September 30, 2006 having attained the age of 79 years. He was united in marriage to Maude Casada Price on July 03, 1953 in Rossfield, GA, she survives. Other survivors include; two sisters, Joanne (and Glen) Roy and Norma (Bob) Overbey all of Somerset, KY and several nephews and nieces. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by; one brother, Raymond Price and one sister, Lucille Price. Mr. Price had retired from the postal service after 25 years of service. He was also a member of the Parkers Mill Baptist Church where he had worshiped regularly for the last 30 years. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 04, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Darry Hatfield and Elder S. L. Sears officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Charles Vernon Price will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2006. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements. The family requests expresions of sympathy take the form of Donations to The American Kidney Foundation or The Parkers Mill Church Building Fund.
