Ola Whitis Wells Surface

Ola Whitis Wells Surface, daughter of the late Elmer and Balzora Turner Whitis, was born at Ano, Kentucky on April 7, 1919 and she departed this life on Monday, September 25, 2006 having attained the age of 87 years. Survivors include; one son, Denny Wells; and one daughter, Linda (and Ray) Hurley all of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Lawrence and Verel Whitis of Somerset, KY; three sisters, Anna Ernest, Edna Bell Stringer and Mattie Powell all of Dayton, Ohio; also surviving are many nieces, nephews and other relatives who mourn her passing. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by; two husbands, Harry Wells and Eddie Surface; one son, Kenny Wells; five brothers, Melvin, Clarence, Robert, Earl and Oather Whitis; and two sisters, Gertie Estep and Beulah Whitis.
