Mrs. Gypsy Lou Smith

February 19, 1918 — June 3, 2010

Mrs. Gypsy Lou Smith, daughter of the late Dave and Nora Heath Vitatoe, was born in Allock, KY on February 19, 1918 and she departed this life on Thursday, June 3, 2010 having attained the age of 92 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Mack Smith, he preceded her in death. Survivors include one son; Mr. Michael (and Penny) Smith of Walbash, IN; one grandson, Dewayne (and Christy) Smith of Marion, IN; the following great grandchildren, Jarrett & Ashley Smith and many great great grandchildren, as well as, two spiritual daughters, Susan Hansford, and Bonnie (and Mickey) Hartley and a multitude of friends. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by ; two sisters, Clara Holbrook and Fern Mosley; two brothers, Pete and Glenn Vitatoe, and one grandson; James Michael Smith. Mrs. Smith was of the Pentecostal faith and played the organ, piano, and guitar for many churches. She was a retired L.P.N., and taught Sunday school and hosted many bible studies. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral home with Bro. Garner Bell, and Bro. Mickey Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Gypsy Smith will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010 until after services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Gypsy Smith.
