Mrs. Reba June Honeycutt

Mrs. Reba June Honeycutt, daughter of the late Edward and Ethel Stewart Headrick, was born in Oakdale, TN on January 25, 1933 and she departed this life in the presence of her family at her residence in Somerset, KY on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 having attained the age of 77 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Herbert Honeycutt on January 22, 1949 in Georgia, he survives. Other survivors include; three sons, James Edward Honeycutt of Danville, KY, Larry Douglas (and Cecilia) Honeycutt of Somerset, KY and Michael “Lem” (and Jolyn) Honeycutt of Somerset, KY; two daughters, Mary Ann Schoolcraft of Somerset, KY and Donna Gail (and Rob) Brown of Campbellsville, KY; one brother, Lewis Headrick of Harriman, TN; three sisters, Rema Kries of Gothamburg, NB, Ruth Kries of Lancing, TN and Faye Johnson of Greenville, TN; 15 grandchildren, Chris, Shane and Cresta Honeycutt all of Somerset, KY, Olivia King, and Doug Honeycutt both of Somerset, KY, Jennifer Hargis of Lexington, KY, Andrea Lawler of Campbellsville, KY, Amy Tilley of Lexington, KY, John Honeycutt of Campbellsville, KY, Dana Harmon of Somerset, KY, Stacey Schoolcraft of Somerset, KY, Jay Schoolcraft of Somerset, KY, Daniel, Mike and Zachary Brown all of Campbellsville, KY and 13 great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by; one son, Ricky Lynn Honeycutt; two brothers, Ray and Robert Headrick; one sister, Shirley Zumstien; and one grandchild, Michael Honeycutt. Reba was a kind person, she was a member of the Duke Memorial Baptist Church and she taught Sunday school there for many years, she also served on the cooking committee, and she enjoyed singing in the choir. Her favorite hobbies included family gathering, gardening and was a lover of family and friends. She was a wonderful lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her, she leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. David Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Reba Honeycutt will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Reba Honeycutt.
