Mr. Ormond V. Leugers, son of the late Bernard Leugers and Beatrice and Claude Randolph, was born in Reading, Ohio on December 3, 1927 and he departed this life on Thursday, May 20, 2010 having attained the age of 82 years.
He was united in marriage to Mrs. Alma Dean Meece Leugers, for more than 61 years, she survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Genia (and Mike) Warford of Somerset, KY, and Brenda (and George) Urfer of Lexington, KY; two granddaughters, Stacie (and Keith) Ashley and Hayley Urfer; two grandsons, Steve (and Tammy) Warford, and Brad Warford; and five great grandchildren, Leandra Bishop, Austin Warford, Cody Warford, Jack Warford and Mitchell Warford.
Other than his parents, he is also preceded in death by one sister and one brother-in-law, Norma Eaton and her husband Bill, and one nephew, Michael Eaton.
Ormond was a World War II Veteran, a life long farmer, and he was a part of the Sinking Valley Baptist Church for many years. He was a kind and gentle person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him, he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Renfro Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Ormond Leugers will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010.
