Mrs. Stella Taylor Brumer, daughter of the late B.F. and Ethel Mae Hall Lovins, was born at Conard, Ky (Lower Line Creek Community) on December 23, 1924 and she departed this life in the presence of her family on Monday, May 17, 2010 having attained the age of 85 years.
She was first united in marriage to Mr. Leonard Taylor of the Dahl Community, he preceded her in death, she was later united in marriage to Mr. Russell Brumer, he also preceded her in death.
Survivors include; three daughter, Wanda (and Byron) Bohannon of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jean (and Gary) Jones and Alisha “Alice” (and Glen) Chaney all of Somerset, Kentucky; three sons, William Ralph (and Brenda) Taylor and Gary (and Trina) Taylor of Somerset, Kentucky and Harold (and Norma) Taylor of Fairland, Indiana; one sister, Bethel Cole of Somerset, Kentucky and also surviving are nineteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
Other than her parents and two husbands, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Vinson and Bernice Hacker and seven brothers; Burchel, Edward, Calvin, Denford, Arlie, Ervin, and Lonnie Lovins.
Stella was a homemaker and a God fearing woman, she enjoyed her family and friends and loved life. She was a member of the Sinking Valley Baptist Church and was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Taylor Brumer will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Hospice Chaplin Dr. Greg Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Sinking Valley Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Stella Taylor Brumer will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010.
