Mr. Aaron S. Burton

Mr. Aaron S. Burton, son of the late George and Sis Burton, was born in Pulaski Co., KY on June 26, 1928 and departed this life on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at his residence, having attained the age of 78 years. He was united in marriage to Elva Merrick Burton for the past 56 years, she survives. Other survivors include; Connie (and Jonathan) Jones, Carol (and Jim) Strack, Aaron Stacey (and Vanessa) Burton, Bobby (and Dianna) Sexton, and Calvin (and Emma) Sexton; nine grandchildren, Casey Jones, David Jones, Justin Jones, Christian Strack, Dwain Sexton, Tyler Sexton, Misty Eldridge, Michelle Luttrell and Amanda Young ; six great grandchildren, Kayla Luttrell, Klarissa Luttrell, Whitney Eldridge, Cody Eldridge, Ssara Beth Young, and Cameron D. Young; two brothers, Albert Burton and Allen Burton; two sisters, Melba Nicholas and Glaadys Bray and a host of other relatives and friends who both mourn his passing and celebrate his homegoing. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by; one brother, Youless Burton. Aaron was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church and has been an active part of the church for the length of his membership; 57 years, he was also a shareholder of Cumberland Wood and Chair and he was a retired farmer. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2006 at the Oak Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Harold Brown and Rev. Jonathan Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Aaron Burton will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2006 at the church. Pulaski Fuenral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
