Ora G. Mahaffey

Ora G. (Harper) Mahaffey, daughter of the late John Nelson and Dorithia Bea Phelps Harper, was born in Science Hill, KY and she departed this life on Thursday, March 18, 2010 having attained the age of 83 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed. Other than her parents she is also preceded in death by; two sisters, Ophia Brower and Anna Warren, one daughter, Stella Marie Humble. She is survived by her husband, Carl R. Mahaffey, five children, Nancy (and Walter) Scholl of Barnwell, South Carolina, Beulah (and James) Boynton of Brandon, FL, Donna (and Marty) Hancock of Ruskin, FL, Jerald (and Taralea) Mahaffey of Florida, Gail (and Bobby) Parker of Gibsonton, FL, two sisters, Allene Dye and Jewell Mercer, two brothers, James O. Harper and Vergis Harper and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at the Pulaski Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 01, 2010 The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 01, 2010 until time for services.
