Mrs. Lois B. Meece of Somerset, Kentucky daughter of the late Alfred and Cordia (Meece) Baker was born on September 14, 1932 in White Lily, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital having attained the age of 77. Besides her parents Mrs. Meece was preceded in death by one brother; James Baker. Lois is survived by her husband; Carl Meece, one son; Richard (and Kathy) Meece, two daughter; Barbara (and Johnny) Dobbs, Nancy (and Frankie) Woodall, one brother; Ercie Baker and one sister; Irene Phelps all of Somerset, Kentucky. Mrs. Meece also leaves behind 6 grandchildren; Jason (and Jennifer) Woodall, Robin (and Eddie) Brumley, Justin (and Tasha) Meece, Rachel (and Rocky) Wagers, Daniel (and Melanie) Meece, John Dobbs, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing. Mrs. Lois Meece was a member of White Lily Baptist Church. Lois also loved her flowers in her garden and loved all of her grandchildren very much. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Ernest Warren and Bro Doug Eggers officiating. Burial will follow in the White Lily Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Meece will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers family request expressions of sympathy be made to the White Lily Cemetery Fund. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Lois B. Meece.
