Mr. Gary Swartz

Mr. Gary Swartz, the son of Betty Jane Lester Swartz and the late Richard “R.T.” Swartz, was born on February 27, 1954 and he departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital having attained the age of 54 years. Other than his mother, he is also survived by one son; Richard Swartz of Columbia, KY, two daughters, Christie Swartz (and Rick) Cundiff of Somerset, KY and Maegen Swartz of Columbia, KY; one brother; E.T. Swartz of Somerset, KY; one sister, Kathy Lou Swartz Cooper of Bristol, VA; one grandson , Cayden Sparks of Columbia, KY and two nephews, Will Cooper of Phoenix, AZ and Todd Cooper of Bristol, VA. Gary was an avid Kentucky Wildcat Fan, he also enjoyed music, and watching Law and Order. He was employed by Tecumseh manufacturing for many years, and also most recently by Walmart. He was a kind person who will be greatly wised by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Amundson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Gary Swartz will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2010.
