Mr. Jessy Sampson, the son of Thomas and Karen Pettegrow Sampson, was born at Avon park, FL on April 26, 1983 and departed this life suddenly at Mt. Vernon, KY on August 08, 2006 having attained the age of 23 years. Other than his parents, he was also survived by his fiancee, Shoshana Chowdhoury Pachman; two brothers, Jonathon (and Joanie) Sampson of Sloans Valley, KY, and Shawn Sampson also of Sloans Valley, KY; one niece, Shawna Kay Sampson, and two nephews, Jaiden Sampson and Justin Sampson; the following aunts and uncles, John R. (and Justice) Sampson and William (and Linda) Crouch and his maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Pettegrow. Also surviving are the following special friends, Charles, "Chucky" Brannon, Michelle Pachman & Family, Daniel Cornelius & Family, Caine, Leslie, Mathew & Stephanie, Mikel West, Opal Morrow & Family, Billy Freeman & Family, Shirrel McKee & Family, Gary Cornett, Jim & Rita Pitman, Nathan Vaughn, Robert & Heather Addy & family, Junior & Helena Wilson & Family, Desmond & Heather, Frank & Helen Farmer & Family, Gaylon & Kathy Taylor and Dave and Valerie Stevens and Family. The officers and crew of the Aircraft Carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) and many other friends and aquaintences throughout the years. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Juanita Sampson and his maternal grandfther, Gilbert Pettegrow. Jessy was in the U. S. Navy and in a few days was to be deployed. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sloans Valley Cemetery. The family of Jessy E. Sampson will recieve friends at Pulaski Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening and from 8:00 a.m. thursday morning until after services. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
