Eileen Hurst

Geneva Eileen Hurst, daughter of the late Broyles H. and Lotus Bloomer Burton, was born in Pulaski County, KY on September 11, 1924 and departed this life on Tuesday, August 01, 2006 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital having attained the age of 81 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Willie Hurst on December 03, 1945, he survives. Other survivors include; three daughters, Linda (and Larry) Bishop, Paula Wilson and Gale (and Fred) LaFollette; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three bothers, Bill, Robert and Ed Burton; four sisters, Barbara Brown, Lucretia McFarland, Roberta Wholaver and Lanetta Wilkins, and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roy and Harvey Burton. Eileen was retired from the Totes Manufacturing Company in Loveland, Ohio, and she was a member of the Burnetts Chapel Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 04, 2006 with Rev. Chris Jasper officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnett's Chapel Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Eileen Hurst will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 04, 2006 until after sevices. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Burnett's Chapel Methodist Church Building Fund or The Burnett's Chapel Cemetery Fund.
