Charles Emerson Webster departed from this life on Saturday, July 29, 2006, in the home of his son Chuck Webster and wife Anne. During this last serious illness he was surrounded by his family and friends, who had an opportunity to express their love and appreciation for this incredible man. He is the son of the late Charles Emerson Webster and Charlotte (Lottie) Sorger of Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Webster was in the Army Air Force at the end of WW II (1944-1945). He was employed as a purchasing agent for Standard Oil of Ohio and then Utility and Industrial Supply Company. Mr. Webster has been retired for many years and enjoyed golf, bowling, and bridge in Kentucky and Fort Myers, Florida. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Ft. Myers.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 18 years, Marietta, his five children with his late first wife Stella, Carroll Elaine Rose of Maryville TN, Connie Ellen Cameron of Perrysburg OH, Charles Emerson Webster (Anne) of Lexington KY, Cathleen Edith Webster of Denver CO, Craig Edward Webster (Maria) of Princeton WV, and his eight grandchildren, Fred, Charlie, Andrea, Allison, Mary, Kaitlin, Will, and Charlotte. In addition, he is survived by Marietta's children and grandchildren, Milton Lewis (Sallie) of San Antonio TX, Marietta Case (Bill) of Lexington KY, Allen Lewis (Kay) of Harrogate TN, and Melissa, Catherine, Asher, Ashley, Allison, Alec, and Kayla; and his late second wife, Estelle's daughter, Janet Tutt (Jim) of Lexington KY and her son Stephen. The family would like to thank the caregivers from the Innovative Senior Care Home Care, Richmond Place, and Hospice of the Bluegrass. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY, 40504. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 1, 2006, at Pulaski Funeral Home, Somerset, KY with visitation at 11:30, service at 1:00 followed by burial at Mill Springs National Cemetery, Nancy, KY. Pulaski Funeral Home is Entrusted with the arrangements.
