Joe Howard Flynn of Somerset, passed away February 7, 2010. He is survived by his wife Paula Brown, to whom he was married to for almost 35 years, an his two sons Jay Chambers Flynn and Seth Molley Flynn both of Lexington. Born March 1, 1948, to the late Grover and Lydia Chambers Flynn, Joe was a lifelong resident of the Somerset-Pulaski County area. He attended Somerset Community College, and at the time of his passing was employed by the Lexington Herald-Leader as a district manager and a real estate agent for Samuel Ray Godby Real Estate and Auction. He is also survived by his brother, Max Flynn (wife Joyce), sister, Mary Flynn Morgan (late husband, Warner), Brother, Fred Flynn, brother, Bob Flynn (wife Delores), brother, Jesse Flynn (wife Norma), a special friend and niece, Mary Ann Flynn, numerous nephews and nieces, and his beloved dog Yogi. His brother Dock preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Mr. Michael Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in the Alexanders Chapel Cemetery. The family of Mr. Joe Howard Flynn will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the UK Chandler Hospital Patient and Family Services/Human Needs Fund, 800 Rose St. Room H149, Lexington, KY 40536-0293 Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Joe Flynn
