Clifford P. Beshear, 84, Boat Dock Road,Somerset Died Saturday July 1,2006 at Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. He was born May 11,1922 in the Naomi community of Pulaski County, son of the late Buckner Lee and Della Merrick Beshear who preceded him in death. he was a World War II veteran serving in the European Theater and a long time member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. He was a dairyman and a farmer who after retirement became an avid fisherman enjoying traveling, hosting family fish fries and loved having coffee with friends at a local restaurant in the mornings. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Schoolcraft Beshear, Whom he married in September,1944 and died in August,1980. He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Beshear Wilson, Somerset; two grandchildren, Marty and (Karen) Wilson, Bowling Green and Wendy Wilson, Somerset, and one special great Granddaughter, Kaitlyn Wilson, Bowling Green; Two brothers,Carthel and (Wanda) Beshear,and Carter and (Mae)Beshear, Both of Somerset,and one sister-in-law: Pauline Zimmerman, Nancy. His second wife, Shirley Hill Beshear, preceded him in death in 1999. He is also survived by these stepchildren: Laura and (Allen) Hartwell, Lake Arthur, La. Lisa and (Andres) Jiminez, Chatt., Tenn., Dan Hill Atlanta, Ga. and G.H. West, Somerset, six step-grandchildren; Leah Hartwell. Megan Jiminez, Stephanie Jiminez, Sebastian Abshire, Austin Hill. and Quinton West. Funeral Services will be Held Wednesday July 5,2006 at 1:00 PM. in the chapel of Pulaski funeral Home With Dr. Harold Brown, and Bro. Dan Brown Officiating. Family will receive family and fiends after 10:00 am. Wednesday July 5, 2006 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Pulaski Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Memorials may take the form of donations to the Amercian Kidney Foundation or /and Kentucky Diabetic Association.
