Mr. Herman L. Hudson, son of the late Herman Lee and Bernice May Bell Hudson, was born in Pulaski County, KY on November 26, 1941 and he departed this life at his residence on December 12, 2009 having attained the age of 68 years and 16 days.
He was united in marriage to Patsy Cassada Hudson on June 12, 1965 in Somerset, Kentucky, she survives. Other survivors include; two sons, Herman Leon (and Stefanie) Hudson of Richardson, TX, and Scott Allen Hudson of Indianapolis, IN; three brothers, Roy (and Becky) Hudson of Muncie, IN, Clarence (and Hope) Hudson of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Charlie Hudson of Bronston, KY; four sisters, Fayrene Thurman of Burnside, KY, Rosalie Hemphill of Albany, KY, Tina (and Joe Bill) Tompson of Bronston, KY, and Darlene (and Gene) Strunk of Tateville, KY and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Herman was a Korean War Army veteran and worked for more than 30 years for Navistar International, he was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Strunk officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.
