Francis Marion "Buddy" Fitch III

Mr. Francis Marion “Buddy” Fitch III., born on January 11, 1963 in Lexington, Kentucky to Emma Jean (Fitch) Orrock and the late Francis Marion Fitch Jr., and the brother of Steven Marion Fitch, Bill J. Coffey, and James Coffey, left this earth unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at approximately 10:00a.m. in Dallas, Texas He was raised in Ridgefield, Connecticut where he went to school and loved, enjoyed family gatherings and his dog pawl, Buddy, moved to Northridge, California with his family and he graduated from Cleveland High School in 1981 and moved to Dallas, Texas with his girlfriend Lisa Walters were he became a truck driver which was a long time dream of his. Buddy enjoyed life to the fullest. He believed in making his dreams come true, he was a very easy going never in a hurry for anyone or anything, he loved playing the guitar, fishing, driving, football, playing pool and loved to sing, "Rather he could or not". He was a very kind and loving person who will be greatly missed by all that new him. In addition to his mother and brothers, Buddy is survived by his uncle David Fitch of California, Aunt Carrie Carter and Aunt Gerri Fitch of Massachusetts, Aunt Martha, Aunt Linda, Aunt Bette Sue, Aunt Shirley, Aunt Anna of Kentucky and Uncles Roland and Randle Coffey of Kentucky, three nieces Flecia and Genva of California, Myra of Kentucky, one great nephew Muhammad, and many beloved cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents; Lillian and Francis Fitch, Shell and Veda Coffey, his father Francis M. Fitch Jr., Uncle Charles E. Fitch and Will Ed Coffey. The family takes comfort in knowing that they will be with Francis Marion “Buddy” again when they all meet the Lord and share in eternity. Funeral services for Mr. Francis Marion Fitch III will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 11:00a.m. in the Smith & Smith Funeral Home 340 E. Third St. Lexington, Kentucky 40508. Burial will follow in the Stanford-Pike Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Fitch will receive friends on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 after 9:00a.m. at the Smith & Smith Funeral Home until time of services.
