Mrs. Jerrie Norfleet Pierce

Jerrie Norfleet Pierce age 93 of Nancy, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at The Neighborhood. She was born in Norfleet, KY on October 14, 1916 daughter of the late Samuel and Lucy Norfleet. She was a an employee of Palm Beach for more than 34 years and she was a member of the Burnetta Baptist Church. She is s survived by; one daughter, Jo Nell Prather of Somerset, KY, one grandson, Art (Tracy) Prather of Burlington, KY; two great grandchildren, Brent and Corey Anne Prather and two sisters, Nancy Barker of Louisville, KY and Ruth Dalton of Somerset, KY. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Pierce, whom she married on July 3, 1937. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1998; one son in law, Jimmy Prather, two brothers, Eugene and Samuel Brent Norfeet, Jr., and two sisters, Uma Stigall and Kathleen Wilson. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the Neighborhood for their fine friendship and care of Mrs. Pierce. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Butte officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Jerrie Norfleet Pierce will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home form 11:00 a.m. Thursday until after services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Jerrie Norfleet Pierce.
