Mr. Albert Muse, son of the late William David and Maude Beasley Muse, was born at Somerset, KY on July 7, 1915 and departed this life on Sunday, May 28, 2006 having attained the age of 90 years.
He was united in marriage to Viola Brimm Muse of Williamsburg, KY who he met while serving with the Civilian Conservation Corp., while based at Cumberland Falls in the 1930's. She preceded him in death on June 14, 1993.
Survivors include; two daughters, Lottie Shelton of Monticello, KY and Jolene Denham of Somerset, KY; one granddaughter, Lisa Suzanne (and Keith) Adams of Paducah, KY; two grandsons, Samuel (and Nellie)Shelton of Lancaster, KY and James (and Paula) Shelton of Monticello, KY; three great grandchildren, Jamie (and Kaywood) Smith, Joshua Adams and Jacob Adams; two sisters, Betty Singleton of Somerset, KY and Helen Morehart of Xenia, OH.; one brother-in-law, Ernest Strunk of Indianapolis, IN.
Other than his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by; one brother, Hobart Muse; and three sisters, Eva Girdler, Katherine Kebschull, and Alma Strunk.
Albert retired from the Somerset Gas Company,after more than 40 years of service. He was also a member of the Langdon Street Baptist Church.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 01, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Sammie Adkins and Rev. Gene Tarter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery.
