Mr. Cecil Fairris, son of the late Ozell and Virginia Cook Fairris, was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 1st, 1955 and he departed this life on Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 having attained the age of 55 years.
He was united in marriage to Jane Rice Fairris on November 1st, 1978, she survives. Other survivors include ; one son, Eddie (and Pam) Dean of Somerset, KY; one daughter, Sara (and David) Smith of the Pulaski Community; three brothers, Billy Fairris of Alabama, Leon Reynolds of Mighigan, and Charlie Fairris of Chatanooga, TN;; one sister, Martha Padgett of Somerset, KY; four grandchildren, Joshua Dean and Miranda Dean of Somerset, KY and Molly Smith and Ella Smith of the Pulaski Community; one sister-in-law, Judy Rice of Somerset, the following special nephews and nieces, Mike and Tim Padgett, Jonathon, Jason, and Lynn Stringer, and Mandy St. John.
Cecil was the part owner of Kids Zone, and he was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship, he enjoyed life and was always a very active person. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, September 19, 2009 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Harrell and Rev. Chris Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Science Hill Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Cecil Fairris will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009.
