Samuel (Sambo) Williamson, 92, of Jugornot, Ky departed this life to go be with the Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.He was born in Northfield, Ky on June 4th, 1924. Son of the late Thomas and Minnie Williamson.He is survived by his wife Ruby Jean Williamson, 3 children; William (Bill) Ira and Marlene Williamson of Lexington, Ky., Phyllis (Lindsey) Glover of Somerset, Ky and Don (Leona) Williamson of Jugornot, Ky. 3 grandchildren; Robert Lindsey(Jennifer) Glover, Veronda Williamson and Sammy (Lisa) Williamson; 4 great grandchildren; Makayla Blake (Dustin) Scott, Sammy Cole Williamson, Hattie Jean Williamson and Ashlynn Grace Glover. 1 sister; Nona Lee Hansford of Fairfield, Oh.,along witha host of nieces and nephews.Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Henry, Fred, James and Lloyd Williamson. 6 sisters; Cora Hail, Mary Ferrell, Lovie Meece, Katherine Rogers, Pearlie Lovins and Olive Williamson.He was a member and a Deacon of New Enterprise Baptist Church.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jim McKinney officiating. Burial will be in the Colyer Cemetery.Visitation for Mr. Samuel (Sambo) Williamson will be from 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to New Enterprise Baptist Church.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Condolences may be expressed to the family at: www.pulaskifuneralhome.com
