Earnest Dalton

Bro. Earnest Dalton, son of the late Alfred and Nevada Roy Dalton, was born at West Somerset, Kentucky on Sunday March 16, 1930 and he departed this life on Sunday, March 5, 2017 having attained the age of 86 years.He was united in marriage to Mrs. Sylvia Goldie Dalton, she preceded him in death. Survivors include; two sons, Norman Earnest Dalton and Linville Dalton both of Eubank, Kentucky; one daughter, Elaine Ramsey of Lafayette, Indiana; three brothers, Thomas Lloyd Caudill of Kettle Falls, Washington, Kinney Carlos Caudill of Eubank, KY and Frank "Dee" Dalton of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Emma Jean Tucker of Somerset, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Ray Ramsey, Vivian Ramsey, Brenda Lynn Ramsey, Angela Ramsey, Nathaniel Dalton, Jonathan Dalton, Seth Dalton and Thomas Dalton; and seven great grandchildren.Other than his parents and wife, he was also preceded and death by three brothers and four sisters, and one great great grandchild.Earnest enjoyed farming, and being with his family. He also enjoyed serving in the Lords work, having served more than 46 years in the ministry by serving as pastor in many Church of God Churches in and around the area.He was a kind person who worked hard at everything he done. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn his passing.A funeral service for Bro. Earnest Dalton will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Heritage Hope Church of God. Burial will follow in the Science Hill Cemetery with military honors to be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.The family of Bro. Earnest Dalton will receive friends at the Heritage Hope Church of God after 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 and from 9:00 a.m. Friday at the church until time for services.Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to assist the family of Bro.
