Janie Denney Sears

Janie Denney Sears, 57, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017. She was born in Somerset, Ky on November 13, 1959; daughter of the late Curtis and Jean Ping Denney. She was a Social Worker for the State of Kentucky, and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, spending time with her family, and traveling.She is survived by her husband, Scott Sears, whom she married on September 17, 1994; two brothers, Hunter & (Linda) Denney and Brinkley & (Debbie) Denney both of Somerset; and her mother-in-law, Glenda Sears.She was preceded in death by her parents.A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Science Hill Cemetery with Bro. Bill Haynes officiating, burial will follow.Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church, and 9 AM to 10 AM Wednesday.The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Hope Lodge of Lexington, 1500 College Way, Lexington, KY 40502 or Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, 340 Oak Leaf Lane, Somerset, KY 42503.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
