Beulah Fay Goodin, 70, of Somerset, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.She was born on June 29, 1946 in Poplarville, Kentucky to the late Odos and Fay Merritt Thompson. She married Clarence Goodin on September 15, 1960 in Somerset, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and a member of Poplarville Baptist Church, and served as church treasurer. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with family and friends, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, they always put a smile on her face. Beulah is survived by her husband and her children, Paul Goodin Somerset, KY, Lisa & (Austin) Sears of Somerset, Tommy & (Shelly Swain) Goodin of Somerset, and David & (Kim Dobson) Goodin of Edmonton, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, a brother, Odos & (Linda) Thompson of Greenfield, IN and a sister, Hattie & (Earl) Owens of Somerset.She was preceded in death by her parents and a son William Goodin, a daughter Billie Goodin, a daughter-in-law Tammy Goodin, a great-granddaughter Jessica Goodin, a sister, Wanda Jean Thompson and three brothers, Ollie Thompson, Windle Thompson, and Freddie Thompson. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Goodin officiating.Burial will be in Merritt Cemetery.Visitation will be after 6 PM, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
