Marlene "Sis" Burton Fowler

Marlene "Sis" Burton Fowler, 80, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born on April 5, 1936; daughter of the late Teddy and Ella Marcum Burton. She is a 1954 graduate of Nancy High School and the Glasgow school of Nursing, and also Somerset Community College with a RN degree. She is retired nurse from Westlake Regional in Columbia, Ky. Marlene was a member of Lake Cumberland Church of the Nazarene, and a devout Christian woman her entire life.She is survived by her son, Bill (Karen) Fowler, her grandchildren Ashley Fowler of Somerset and Zachery William Fowler of Chicago, IL. Also 2 other step-grandchildren of Somerset. Two sisters, Jewell Miller of Uniontown, Oh. & Josephine Phelps, Evansville, In.She is preceded in death by her mother & father. A twin brother Marlin "Buzz" Burton. Brother Denville Burton.A funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro.
