Roy Neal

Roy Neal of Somerset the son of the Robert and Amelia Proffitt Neal, was born in Clay County, KY on April 11, 1924 and he departed this life on Tuesday, August, 4, 2009 at the having attained the age of 85 years. He is survived by ; two nieces, Shirley (and Garry) Hill of London, KY, and Mildred Leach of Richmond, KY; two great nieces, Awndrea (and Steve) Newman of Richmond, KY and Amy Gregory of Berea, KY; one great nephew, Andy Leach; and a very special caregiver and friend, Helen Hansford. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Layton Neal and a special friend Sherman Hansford. Roy was a Farmer and a member of Heritage Hope. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Pulaski Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in the Elza Cemetery in Laurel County, KY. The family of Roy Neal will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 until after funeral services.
