Conard Wesley Bryant

Mr. Conard Wesley Bryant of Burnside, Kentucky, son of the late Lonnie Arizona and Thelma Ross (Fitzgerald) Bryant was born on December 14, 1926 in Burnside, Kentucky and departed this life on Monday, July 20, 2009 at his residence in the presence of his family having attained the age of 82 years old. Besides his parents Mr. Bryant is preceded in death by his wife; Henrietta Tiny (Mounce) Bryant, and two brothers; James Martin Bryant and Paul Freeman Bryant. Conard is survived by one daughter; Shelba (and Ronnie) Jones of Somerset, Kentucky, one son; Martin ( and Sheila)Bryant of Louisville, Kentucky, two brothers; Dudley (and Nida) Bryant of Burnside, Kentucky and Sam (and Blanche) Bryant of Homeland, Florida, two granddaughters; Ali Jones and Leah Bryant. Mr. Bryant also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends who all mourn his passing. Conard was retired from the Clorox Corp. Parent Company of Kingsford Charcoal Company in Burnside where he served as a Cost Accounting Manager for 35 years. Conard attended Burnside High School and shortly after graduating he entered into the United States Coast Guard as a Merchant Marine for 2 years. Mr. Bryant attended the First Baptist Church of Burnside and also served as a Burnside City Council Member for 13 years. He was devoted to helping others and volunteering his time to the Burnside Cemetery. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009 in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Richard Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnside Cemetery The family of Mr. Conard Bryant will receive friends on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 from 5-9 p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard. In Lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and/or to the Burnside Cemetery Fund. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of arrangements for Mr. Conard Wesley Bryant.
