Kathryn Marie Coughenour

Kathryn Marie Coughenour, age 88, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She brought love and laughter to her family and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shellie & Della Isobell Lequire, Sr.; her daughter, Kathy Sedwick; her son, Harold Hylton, Jr.; her grandson, Michael Comegys; two brothers, John Lequire, and Shellie Lequire, Jr.She is survived by her husband, Robert Coughenour; two daughters, and one son-in-law, Beverly & (Gil) Comegys, and Lisa Cunningham; one sister, and two brothers-in-law, Patricia & (Norman) Staehling; one sister-in-law, Ruth Lequire; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Sedwick, Heather Mutscheller, Kevin Comegys, Katy Banaszewski, Emily Holmes, Kelly Magruder, and Amanda Beard.Six great-grandchildren, Chelsea Burton, Alivia Beard, Kyler Beard, Evelyn Jane Holmes, Dylan Comegys, and Mason Comegys; nephews and nieces, Brian Staehling, Kristi Staehling, and Melissa DeSandre, Cindy Reis, and Debbie Maloney and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.She enjoyed cooking, country music, gardening, and traveling with her husband in his big truck. Her biggest joy came from getting together with her family.She retired from John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland; then moved to Kentucky to enjoy her retirement.She was loved by everyone who knew her and she will be missed. The family will receive friends from 11 AM Saturday at Pulaski Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life service, that will be held at 12:00 noon at the funeral home, and everyone is welcome.
