Mr. Clarence Dye

Mr. Clarence Dye, son of the late Victor and Maggie McClure Dye, was born in Pulaski County, KY on September 10, 1912 and he departed this life on Thursday, July 2, 2009 having attained the age of 96 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Lena Smith Dye, she survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Joyce (and Wayne) Wilson of Somerset, KY, one grandson, Steven L. (and Ann) Wilson of Loveland, Ohio; and two great grandchildren, Abby Wilson of Loveland, Ohio, and Liz Spraker of Tucson, Arizona. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by: three brothers, Morris, Ottie and Clay, and Two sisters, Bertha and Ruby. Clarence was an engineer technician for the Kentucky Department of Transportation for many years. He was also a longstanding member of the Duke Memorial Baptist Church, and he was also a member of the Woodstock Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years. Clarence was a kind and unassuming person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves relatives, friends and church family who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Lakeside Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Clarence Dye will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Monday until after services at the Mausoleum Chapel of Lakeside Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Duke Memorial Baptist Church building fund in memory of Clarence Dye. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Clarence Dye.
