Eloise Isaacs Kirby, daughter of the late Charles Odell and Exa Lou Mulcahy Isaacs, was born March 29, 1926 in Nicholasville, KY and she departed this life in Somerset, KY on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 having attained the age of 90 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Louis Franklin Kirby, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; one sister, Ann E. Perkins of Greenville, South Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Betty B “Liz” Isaacs, and Dorothy Isaacs; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; two brothers, Charles M. and William A. Isaacs, and one sister, Carolyn M. Isaacs Phalan. Earlier in her life, Eloise attended Transylvania University. She also participated in management classes at the University of South Florida as well as American Management Association Classes in Atlanta, Georgia. She was once the Executive Secretary to President/Publisher of the Orlando Sentinal Newspaper and Owned the Secretarial Shop in New Smyrna, Florida. Eloise resided in Orlando, Florida for several years and then in New Smyrna Beach, Florida for 25 years before moving to Somerset, KY. She was a member of the following organizations, O.E.S. Rachel Chapter 308 Winter Park, FL, The Downtown Orlando Womens Executive Council, The First Christian Church of Somerset, KY and a former member of the Grace Baptist Church of New Smyrna, Florida and several other civic organizations while in Florida. A ceremony celebrating her beautiful life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. The family of Mrs. Eloise Kirby will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until time for services. There will be an Ice Cream Social held in her honor at the funeral home immediately following her funeral for those in attendance at her service.
