Carol Elaine Matthews

Carol Elaine Matthews, 75, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1941 in East Jordan, MI. She was a homemaker, and attended New Life Church of God. She was a former volunteer for Blue & Gold in Cameron, WV; an avid quilter, and enjoyed crocheting. She made numerous Blankets, Hats, and Quilts and donated them to the homeless shelters. She is survived by her children, James & (Yvonne) Smith of Somerset, Judy Warf of OH, Harold Smith of Spokane, WA, Timothy & (Kathy) Smith of OR, Tommy Smith of Corpus Christi, Henry & (Laurie) Smith of Elizabethtown, Melvin & (Shannon) Smith of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Gary Matthews & (Sara) of Cameron, WV; two brothers; three sisters; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers; and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Couch officiating. Visitation for Mrs. Carol Elaine Matthews will be after 11 AM Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
