Lloyd Wendell Meece

Lloyd Wendell Meece, 74, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. He was born on September 19, 1941 in Somerset, Kentucky; son of the late Lloyd D. and Flora Dell Thompson Meece. He worked as a Commercial Printer for the Commonwealth Journal and was the Co-Owner of M&W Printing until he retired. He was a long standing member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, being outdoors and watching UK Basketball and Football. He also played Football for Somerset in High School. He is survived by his wife, Delores Herrin Meece; one daughter, Beth & (Keith) Patrick of Somerset; two grandchildren, Gerek Patrick, and Allie Patrick, both of Somerset; one sister, Diane Rowe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd D. Meece and Flora Dell Burton; one sister, Margaret Harness. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
