Mrs. Virginia Hamilton

Virginia Davidson Hamilton, daughter of the late Joe and Margaret Girdler Davidson, was born June 13, 1920 and she departed this life on August 13, 2016 having attained the age of 96 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Lloyd Hamilton on December 29, 1940, he preceded her in death. Three children blessed this union; two sons, Eddie (and Joann) Hamilton of Science Hill and Kenny (and Micki) Hamilton of Somerset; and one daughter, Sue (and Larry) Snell of Mt. Victory. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Karen (and David) Taylor, Barbara (and Michael) Wesley, Barry (and Debbie) Snell, Lisa (and Wade) Smith, Seth (and Peggy) Hamilton and Jared (and Becky) Hamilton; fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and two very special friends, Pauline Barnett and Brenda Herrin who will mourn her passing. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; two sisters, Irene Taylor and Elsie Davidson. Virginia was a homemaker and enjoyed word puzzles, Crochet, Hand sewing, and quilting. She was a kind Christian lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A funeral service for Mrs. Virginia Hamilton will be conducted at the Pulaski Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Virginia Hamilton will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.
