Mr. Hilton Fowler, son of the late Alfonzo and Catherine Bonham Fowler, was born in Andalusia, Alabama on December 18, 1946 and he went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 04, 2016 having attained the age of 69 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Evelyn Newell Fowler. She survives. Other survivors include; one daughter, Annette (and Isaac) Davis of Riverdale, Maryland; four grandchildren, Anita Miller, Bobby Miller, Itia Davis and Isaac Davis; three great grandchildren, James Miller, Bobby Lamont Miller, and Jada Miller; one brother, Emerson (and Clara) Fowler of Bolingbrook, Illinois; one aunt, Tessie Floyd of Brewton, Alabama; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Bryant of Cleveland, Ohio and Anna Newell of Fort Washington, Maryland, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends who mourn his passing. Hilton was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church where he was an active Sunday School member. He was a graduate of Woodsong High School in 1965. He was also a Vietnam Army Veteran and enjoyed doing mechanics, Cowboy shows, and was a sports fanatic. Football was his favorite sport, and the Dallas Cowboys was his team of choice. He was a kind person who will be deeply missed by his friends and family. A funeral service for Mr. Hilton Fowler will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Seibert Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family of Mr. Hilton Fowler will receive friends at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016 until time for services. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.
