Gene Benge

Gene Benge, 79, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at his residence. He was born on June 13, 1937 in Pulaski Co., Kentucky; son of Roy and Ruby Shadoan Benge. He was the Owner of Gene's Carpet Land, and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife Leda Randall Benge; a son, Jeff & (Rayna) Benge of Somerset, Kentucky; a daughter, Gina & (James) Hines of Science Hill; two sisters, Janice May of Florida, and Glenda McComas of Ohio; three grandchildren, Dustin Hines, Brian Gene Boutillier-Hines, and Amanda Farris; two great-grandchildren, Kevin Xander Boutillier, and Kierstyn Steele. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Christopher "Chris" Benge; a daughter, Jacqueline Ann Benge Price; and a grandson, Kevin Price. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Ferlin Price officiating. Burial will be in West Somerset Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Gene Benge will be after 10 AM Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
