Beulah Glover Hunt, 94, went home to meet the Lord on Saturday, Jul 23, 2016. She was born in the Ruth community of Pulaski Co., on August 29, 1921; daughter of the late John Riley and Elizabeth Alexander Glover. She married Everett Charles Hunt on December 19, 1934, they shared many happy years together. She was of the Baptist faith and was a longtime member of East Somerset Baptist Church.
Beulah was blessed with three children, Lerleen & (and the late Charlie) Hail, Jean & (Ralph) Farmer, and Elwood & (Georgia Lou) Hunt. She was also the proud grandmother of six grandsons, Rocky & (Sheila) Farmer, Eddie Hail, Steve Hail, Marty & (Karen) Hunt, Troy & (Elizabeth) Hunt, and the late Gregory Farmer & (his wife Sue survives); She was survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, Amber Hail, Jared Hail Burkett & (Katie), Ricky & (Kelli) Farmer, Misty & (Phillip) Resch, GJ & (Hillary) Farmer, Laura & (Seth) Tilley, Ashley Hunt, Amanda & (Tyler) Meece, Andrew Hunt, Autumn Hunt, Chandler Taylor Hunt, Haylee Hunt, Austin Hunt, and Brandon Hail; She is also survived by eight great-great-grandchildren, Bailey Meece, Jack and Mackenzie Farmer, Chase and Anna Farmer, Sydney Resch, Chase Burkett, and Jaycee Hail
She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Charles Hunt whom passed away on January 24, 2008; a grandchild, Gregory Farmer, and two great-great-grandchildren, Hunter and Colton Meece, a sister, Zula Meece and two brothers, James Glover, and Lloyd Glover.
Beulah enjoyed spending time with her extended family, watching the University of Kentucky basketball, playing Shanghai Rummy with her children, her dog Patty, Cooking and her East Somerset Church Family. She was the owner and operator of Hunt's Grocery for 30 years, previously owned and ran a restaurant prior to operating the grocery store, and worked for Palm Beach as well.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at East Somerset Baptist Church with Bro. Darvie Fenison, and Bro. GJ Farmer officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at East Somerset Baptist Church.
