Lawrence Pierce

Lawrence Pierce, 87, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab. He was born on August 22, 1928; son of the late Everett and Anita Wilson Pierce. He was a retired barber, and a member of Tateville Baptist Church. Lawrence loved to fish and hunt. He was a US Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Louise Helton Pierce whom he married on May 29, 1954, and with whom he recently celebrated their 62nd anniversary; two brothers, Wesley & (Jeanette) Pierce of Indianapolis, Joby & (Jean) Pierce of Atlanta, GA; and one sister, Maxine Howard of Crescent Hills, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Winfred Pierce; and two sisters, Dorothy Hughes, and Marie Ferrell. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Sewell officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Mr. Lawrence Pierce will be after 10 AM, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
