Eugene Burton

Mr. Eugene Burton of the Campground community, formerly of Bogle Street, the son of Rosco and Hazel Burton was born on December 22, 1927 in Somerset, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at this residence having attained the age of 81 years old. Mr. Burton is survived by three sons; Cletus, Calvin and Gary Burton all of Somerset, KY., three daughters; Shirley Calhoun, Alfreda and Judy Burton all of Somerset, KY., one sister; Pauline Warfield of Cincinnati, OH, also surviving are eight grandsons; Larry, Timothy and Terry Calhoun all of Somerset, KY, Jody Burton of Bowling Green, KY, Jason Burton of Indiana, Jeff Burton of Nancy, Randy and Scott Burton both of Somerset, two granddaughters; Teresa Dick of Kentucky and Jennifer Neely of Somerset, Kentucky. Mr. Burton also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and friends who all mourn his passing. Other than his parents Eugene is preceded death by his late Wife; Ruby Burton, one brother; Chester Burton, one grandchild; Anthony Calhoun and one great-great grandchild; Christian Calhoun. Mr. Burton adhered to the Baptist Faith and worked in Construction. The funeral services for Eugene will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family of Mr. Burton will receive friends on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
