Mr. Orville A. Gossett, the son of Lovie Ping Gossett of Ferguson, KY and the late William Gossett, was born in Somerset, KY on September 22, 1957 and he departed this life on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital having attained the age of 51 years.
He was united in marriage to Wanda Lee Farmer Gossett on February 7, 1976, she survives. Other survivors include; his mother, Lovie Gossett; one daughter, Emmy Gossett Bishop of Burnside, KY; three brothers; Juill (and Scotty) Noe of Somerset, KY, Lowell (and Nona) Gossett of Somerset, KY, and Gene (and Norma Jean) Gossett of Monticello, KY; two grandchildren, Jaden Scott Bishop and Makayla Grace Bishop both of Burnside, KY; three sisters-in-law, Phyllis Gossett of Louisville, KY, Debbie Burton of Somerset, KY and Kay Lamkin of Science Hill, KY; and his mother-in-law, Christine Farmer of Somerset, KY.
Other than his father, he is preceded in death by; one brother, Elmer Gossett, and his father-in-law, Leo Farmer.
Orville worked in auto sales when he was active and able. He was a member of the Rock Lick Baptist Church at Grundy. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Evans and Bro. Lowell Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family of Mr. Orville Gossett will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. The Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements of Mr. Orville Gossett.
