Floyd A. Wiles

Mr. Floyd A. Wiles, son of the late Elva and Nellie Fugate Wiles, was born at Science Hill, KY on December 9, 1939, and he departed this life on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 76 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Edna Pauline Haste Wiles, she survives. Other survivors include; two children, Marsha (and Brian) Simpson of Somerset, KY and Greg Wiles also of Somerset, KY; three grandchildren, Neal Reynolds, Hannah Reynolds, and Aiden Simpson; one brother, Leon (Dorothy) Whiles; and one sister, Ola Jean Abbott and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by; four brothers, Ferrell Glen Whiles, Harold "Turk" Whiles, Arnold Whiles, and Dale Whiles; and one sister, Juanita Cash. Floyd was a member of the Somerset Church of Christ and an Army Veteran. He was a sports enthusiast, and also enjoyed Nascar, and fishing with his family. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38. The family of Mr. Floyd Wiles will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 8 until time for services.
