Lawrence Marvis Taylor

Mr. Lawrence Marvis Taylor, son of the late Ted and Maggie Redford Taylor, was born January 12, 1934 and departed this life on June 5, 2016 having attained the age of 82 years. He was united in marriage to Ruby Arlene Hargis Taylor. She preceded him in death. Survivors include; one daughter, Paula (and Larry) King; three grandchildren, Susan (and Ken) May, Loran (and Olivia) King, and Andrea (and Doug) Bayles; five great grandchildren, Katie, Abbie and Maggie May, Laryssa King and Coleton Bayles. Other than his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one son, Larry Douglas Taylor, five brothers, Lester, Louie, Leonard, Denver, and Donald Taylor; and one sister, Irene Nicely. He was a retired carpenter and enjoyed playing guitar, and singing Gospel music. He was a kind person who will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Lowell Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnesburg Cemetery. The family of Mr. Taylor will receive friends a the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
