Cryus Wesley

Cyrus Wesley, Jr., 81, of Bethelridge, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born on March 24, 1935; son of the late Cyrus and Lucy Belle Wesley. He was a retired Postmaster for the United States Postal Service, a U. S. Army Veteran, and a member of Carter Ridge Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Dick Wesley; a daughter, Sheila Shannon of Danville, KY; two granddaughters, Michelle Mitchell, and Melissa Howard; three great-grandchildren, Jazlyn, Austin, and Tatum; and one brother, Edgar Wesley. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Marie Pittman, Pearl Wesley, Armilda Thompson, Edith Dick, and Eva who died in infancy; and one brother, Edmond Wesley. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Sisson officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
